Trump is mad at Mitch McConnell and he’s tweeting about it

President Donald Trump’s allies are looking at his lack of legislative success so far, and they think they’ve found the problem: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Now, the president himself is criticizing his party’s Senate leader, tweeting Wednesday afternoon: “After 7 years of hearing Repeal & Replace, why not done?”

This comes after a top White House staffer close to Trump tweeted out an attack on McConnell Wednesday morning, claiming he was making “excuses” for his own failure to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Dan Scavino, the White House’s social media director who’s been at Trump’s side since the campaign, sent that tweet from his personal account rather than his government one. But it was still a remarkable attack from a White House staffer on one of the president’s most important allies:
